FIS GmbH Participates in Hamburg Medienwerft

By acquiring a majority stake in the Hamburg Medienwerft e-commerce agency, FIS (an SAP specialist and partner with “Gold” status) is expanding its expertise particularly in the field of SAP Hybris, online brand management, user experience and user interface design.

FIS GmbH and Medienwerft, a specialist for brands and e-commerce, will work side by side in the future. On August 31, 2016, both companies signed the contracts for a majority stake of FIS GmbH in the Hamburg e-commerce agency.

 

In the future, the shared portfolio of both companies will cover the complete SAP range of topics in the field of Customer Engagement and Commerce (CEC). These topics include not only SAP Hybris Commerce and SAP Hybris Marketing, but also the SAP Hybris Cloud for Sales and Cloud for Service solutions. Moreover, FIS and Medienwerft will position themselves as an ideal partner for consulting, conception, development, design and creative layout of Web solutions including, in particular, process integrations towards SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Management. The range of these solutions is completed by SEO services, online brand management, social branding as well as consulting/performance of social media services.

 

Ralf Bernhardt, chairman of the FIS GmbH executive board, explains: “We expect this strategic participation to result in considerable growth for both companies in the area of SAP Customer Engagement and Commerce. Especially in times of digital change, it is important to offer our customers an integrated all-in-one solution including marketing, sales, e-commerce and service.
