Investment in the Grafenrheinfeld Location: More Space for FIS
On a total area of almost 1,600 square meters, new office facilities with capacity for 100 employees, meeting and conference rooms as well as social rooms, such as three kitchens with integrated seating for the employees, showering facilities and changing rooms, are set up at "Am Erlein". The thought-out design is completed by 24 parking spaces, parking spaces for the disabled and covered parking spaces for bikes directly next to the building. "We as the management board say 'yes' to the Grafenrheinfeld location and reinforce our commitment for the region by the targeted investment in the construction of a new company building," explains Ralf Bernhardt, managing director at FIS.
With the ground-breaking ceremony on July 11, 2016, the conception/planning phase ended and the actual building phase was symbolically heralded. The Schonungen-based Philipp architecture office being in charge of the construction site management and Otto Heil GmbH & Co. KG beingresponsible for the earthwork and work pieces make more space available to FIS for the future. The facade design is inspired by the latest office complex built in 2012. The building project is a must both in spatial and FIS company philosophy terms, according to Christian Lang, member of the management board: "We emphasize short communication paths and the personal contact of the employees within the FIS group. This is why the extension of our company campus is a logical step in order to continue quick and uncomplicated coordination." The construction phases from the shell completion up to the interior fittings are scheduled in such a way that the occupation date envisaged for the end of 2017 can be kept.
