On September 19, 2018, FIS Informationssysteme und Consulting GmbH (FIS) headquartered in Grafenrheinfeld celebrated the official inauguration of the new office building together with selected representatives from politics and the building companies involved in the project. Werner Kirchner, the parish priest of Grafenrheinfeld, blessed the new company building.
The FIS management board is remaining true to its investments in the economic region of Lower Franconia by enlarging the existing FIS Campus with a three-storied office building covering a total floor space of 1,600 sqm and 110 new workstations, an innovation area (creative room) and several conference rooms.
It goes without saying that the building concept also took account of the needs of the staff: a kitchen can be found on each floor and staff rooms, such as showers and changing rooms, on the ground floor. Great value was also set on comfortable working conditions: all office and conference rooms are fully air-conditioned and each workstation is provided with an electrically height-adjustable desk.
“We are proud that we were able to complete our new building project within 16 months after the groundbreaking ceremony and keep the planned moving date,” says management board member Christian Lang. The on-schedule management of this project is mainly due to the professionalism of every building company involved and the architectural office, which are all located in Lower Franconia.
FIS, a leading SAP value-added reseller in the D/A/CH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), has been growing steadily for 26 years. The FIS headquarters are located in Grafenrheinfeld. Due to its continuous growth, the IT service provider already enlarged its premises in the past to create space for its manpower and womanpower.
In 2012 already, the FIS Campus was extended with a modern office complex including 100 workstations and a conference area with wide-ranging infrastructure for training, conferences etc. covering more than 2,500 sqm.
Today, only six years later, the FIS management board has again every reason to celebrate.
