Standardized, electronic, correct: FIS/hrd KMV simplifies the implementation of the consensus notification process

The consensus notification procedure is part of a comprehensive initiative to reduce bureaucracy and serves to simplify reporting channels. It ensures that reports are transmitted in a standardized, digital, and secure manner – without media disruption and with significantly reduced effort. 
 
Until now, companies often had to process reports manually or through external service providers. This was time-consuming, error-prone, and tied up unnecessary resources. FIS/hrd KMV addresses this: FIS/hrd KMV imports reporting data directly from SAP HCM, automatically transmits it to the tax authorities, reduces input errors, ensures rapid feedback from authorities, and relieves the burden on HR and IT teams – all while ensuring future-proofing through regular updates. 
 
Since 2025, notifications from authorities and public bodies must also be submitted entirely digitally. This is based on the revised Notification Ordinance, which replaces paper-based processes. To this end, the tax authorities have created a central interface through which a wide variety of notifications can be submitted electronically in a bundled format. This ensures greater speed, fewer errors, and significantly lower maintenance effort – an important step towards a modern, unified tax administration. “Anyone who still works with manual processes today is exposing themselves to risk. With FIS/hrd KMV, we are turning a mandatory task into a worry-free process – digital, automatic, and directly integrated into SAP HCM,” says Dirk Schneider, Managing Director at FIS, summarizing the need for action.
