How do you ensure that high-volume articles do not entail erroneous occupancies and wrong stocks?

FIS/Lagerplatzverkettung (storage bin concatenation) is an extension of SAP EWM for the system-aided mapping of articles that occupy more than one physical storage bin. In this case, all bins concerned are automatically blocked, managed and considered together in the system. Consequently, the bin status report always remains correct without manual blocks, “hold” solutions or subsequent corrections. The concatenation is effective along the entire process from putaway and inventory management to physical inventory. Storage bins will only be released again if the article has been removed from stock. As a result, system stock and physical warehouse reality permanently correspond with each other.
