FIS and SAP Present Solutions for Trade Associations
Acting within a network of cooperations and trade associations is a key component on the road to the age of digitization. Against this background, SAP invited decision makers and professionals from trade associations as well as selected partners to meet and share their experience at the SAP Guest House Kalipeh in Walldorf on September 07, 2016. During the event, specific examples showed the measures currently being successfully implemented with regard to Networking 4.0. FIS also participated with a shared customer presentation.
Prof. Dr. Christine Arend-Fuchs, Director Strategy at SAP, was the keynote speaker at the SAP and Partner Info Day and informed about cooperations and trade associations in an era of changed market conditions and about experiences made in other regions. Andreas Wormbs, Industry Principal Trade at SAP, outlined the respective SAP solutions as well as the joint go-to-market strategies for trade associations. “Quality starts at the source: networking with master data maintenance” was the title of a lecture held by Marcus Michel, IT manager of the CMS Group, and Christian Hüsing, Head of FIS/EIMSolutions at FIS. They presented current solution approaches of master data management and how these are being implemented at CMS. Moreover, the event gave an insight into the digitization and Omnichannel strategy of RINGFOTO, Europe’s largest photo group.
Other major topics were the agile SAP implementation in trade associations, condition and negotiation management for cooperations and trade associations, the mapping of processes with SAP-based solutions and SAP S/4HANA. FIS used this event for a professional exchange of experience and public relations with partners and trade visitors.
