New Licensing Model for SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud
Prior to the current 2108 release, Sales and Service Cloud licenses were divided into "Basic", "Professional" and "Enterprise". This licensing model will no longer exist in the future. However, the change of licenses applies exclusively to newly concluded contracts as of the reference date. Existing contracts are not affected.
The "new" SAP Sales and Service Core combines all standard functions of SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud in one license (see graphic). Functionalities that go beyond the standard version are made available to customers as outsourced and, consequently, optional optimizations. In the future, companies will be able to choose between standard users and limited access users. Limited users can only make a certain number of application calls each month. This license is therefore recommended for users who use the system only occasionally.
The selection of the individually suitable license is therefore no longer necessary in the future; all core functionalities are available in Sales and Service Core. By offering the optimizations, companies can specifically choose which of the additional functions they want to use. This allows users to start with the standard version and then unlock further sales and service functions by using the optimizations either for individual users or for all users. Advantage: only the functionalities actually used are licensed. The following optimizations are currently available:

- Dynamic Visit Planning Add-On für die SAP Sales Cloud
- Agent Console Add-On für die SAP Service Cloud
