IT Competence and Marketing Know-How from a Single Source: FIS Offers Trading Companies a Solution Portfolio with Panoramic View
During the Swiss Retail Technology Day 2017, FIS proved its IT competence by giving a well-attended specialized lecture. The trade show informed about IT solutions for retailing, e-commerce and networking. Like last year, it was well-attended by top-class participants from the Swiss retail market.
FIS presented its FIS/wws industrial solution, the ERP solution for technical wholesale with the highest number of users in the German-speaking countries, at the GDI Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute in Rüschlikon, Switzerland. FIS generated great interest amongst the trade visitors by giving practical digitization examples using FIS-iLog, the collaboration tool for transport logistics, and the "Berichtsheft" (report booklet) app, a tool for HR digitization based on the SAP cloud platform. Currently, trade is facing a new round of innovations. Customers refer to a multitude of channels to obtain information on products and services.
